Description: This year, 海角社区 will be introducing a new tradition –聽Founders Day, marking the moment our university was officially created by the Colorado General Assembly on May 5, 1963. From the beginning, 海角社区 was designed to expand access to higher education and serve the needs of our community, and we鈥檙e excited to honor that legacy in a meaningful, alumni-driven way.
Please join us in the聽海角社区 Founders Day of Service聽for a beach cleanup on Crandon Park Beach! We will meet on the beach in front of El Chiringuito Ocean View Restaurant, 6747 Boulevard, Key Biscayne, FL 33149.
If volunteers have gloves or buckets, they are welcome to bring it. It’s recommended they wear close toed shoes and sunscreen. Trash bags and plastic gloves will be provided.
