海角社区 seeks to promote a safe environment where students may participate in activities and organizations without compromising their health, safety, or welfare. It is therefore the University’s policy that hazing is prohibited.
Prevention of hazing is the responsibility of every member of the University community. Each organization, as well as each individual, must accept the personal obligation to uphold the basic community values. It is the university’s belief that true human development will best occur in an atmosphere that promotes social and ethical responsibility.
Under this policy every member of our University community has an obligation to report and act on information regarding hazing. Under this policy, 海角社区 employees have an obligation to report information regarding hazing. All allegations of hazing will be fully investigated, and any organization and/or individuals within an organization found responsible of hazing may face disciplinary action up to and/or including expulsion from the University and criminal charges.

MSU听Denver听is committed to the diverse听student population听it serves听by ensuring听a safe and respectful campus environment.听In alignment with federal and state听requirements, this 鈥淐ampus Hazing Transparency Report鈥 provides a clear summary of findings for student organizations found responsible for hazing.听
Hazing is defined by our institutional policy as any act that endangers the physical or mental health of a person, coerces participation, or abuses positions of power in the context of membership or new-member activities. This report will include a general description of the incident, the university findings, incident dates, investigation dates, and any sanctions placed on student organizations. To protect students at 海角社区, personally identifiable information will not be included in this report. This policy is to comply with H.R. 5646 鈥楽top Campus Hazing鈥. 听
To ensure MSU鈥檚 commitment to a safe learning environment, this report is used to develop a climate of transparency and accountability. It is updated biannually from the published date. Following this introduction, readers will find a year-by-year summary of all student organizations for which a hazing violation was formally substantiated. Each entry reflects only complete cases, and outcomes of responsibility. Incidents that remain under active investigation, or those that did not result in any finding of responsibility, do not appear in this report. 听
By sharing this information openly, the university promotes clarity, supports community awareness, and provides an accurate record of organizational accountability. This reflects our institutional values of community, access, diversity, respect, and excellence.
