Because we know how important it is for you to succeed in business, let us help guide you through the startup process.

Launch Denver is a 10-week Business Startup workshop that is free for faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community members. The program is designed to guide you through the process of entrepreneurship, starting and growing a business. This powerful program is taught by a variety of professors, alumni and community partners

  • Who is invited? Open to students, faculty, staff, and the community.
  • Perks to joining? Business coaching, networking with other entrepreneurs, turning your passion into profits.
  • How is it structured? 10-week workshop, 2-hour classes, Wednesdays from 5:30-7:50 on Zoom and in person three times, which is optional.

SEP 30 – Branding Strategy & Digital Transformation (Zoom).
OCT 7 – Business Structure, Strategic Marketing Plan, Website SEO (Zoom)
OCT 14 – Money as Your Business Partner workshop – Organizational plan, Funding Your Business, Financial Forecasting, Key costsstreams of revenue (Zoom)
OCT 28 -Financial Feasibility Adjustments (in-person room AD230 and Zoom)
NOV 4 – Promotion & Social Media Strategy, Pitch Presentation Preparation (Zoom)
NOV 11 – Legal Insurance Concerns (Zoom)
NOV 18 – Pitch Presentations and Graduation Ceremony (in person room AD145 and Zoom)

People who complete the program earn a micro-credential that is backed by º£½ÇÉçÇø and can be added to your resume. Completion requires attending seven of the ten sessions, creating an MVP and pitch deck. Presenting a business pitch during the last week (in person, by appointment, or submit a recording.) You are not required to do these things. If you do, you receive a certificate and micro-credential from º£½ÇÉçÇø.

Goals of Launch Denver:

  • Learn the fundamentals of business from subject matter experts
  • Write or strengthen your business plan
  • Discover your relationship to money and how to attract abundance to fund your passion
  • Determine the feasibility of the endeavor based on financial forecasting
  • Create a pitch deck to share with stakeholders
  • Create an MVP (minimum viable product) to generate feedback
  • Pitch your idea to potential stakeholders/investors/judges
  • Network with other entrepreneurs
  • Gain access to resources and financial support through the micro loan program
