Using this application process, your application will be added to the pool of applicants for our programs only regardless of if you are applying for the ING-BP or ACS-BP. This is the best application method if you are only interested in attending 海角社区鈥檚 ACS Bridge Program.

Use this application method for either of 海角社区鈥檚 Bridge Programs; the ING-BP (Bridge to Employment), or the ACS-BP (Bridge to Graduate School)*

1. Complete the by the extended date: April 15^迟丑听 at 11:59pm MST
2. Complete the 海角社区 Postbac Program Application by the extended date: April 15^th at 11:59pm MST

Using this process, your application will be added to a national pool of ACS Bridge Program applicants. This is the best method if you鈥檙e interested in exploring ACS Bridge Programs across the US. If you want to explore your options AND be considered for our specific ACS-BP program, see Step 2 below to complete the 海角社区 Postbac Program Application.

Use this application method for the ACS-BP (Bridge to Graduate School) Program ONLY.

1. Complete the by March 15th. Note: The webpage is titled, 鈥淚nclusive Graduate Education Network Funding Opportunities鈥�
2. Complete the 海角社区 Postbac Program Application by April 10^th
3. Complete the before June 1^st.

海角社区鈥檚 Postbac Program Requirements:

• Have completed a bachelor鈥檚 degree (B.A. or B.S.) in chemistry, biochemistry, or closely related field prior to the start of the postbac program
  • Any non-chemistry major applicants are strongly encouraged to have completed the core chemistry requirements prior to starting the program ().
  • Any applicants who received their degree greater than 5 years ago are encouraged to discuss their application with the program coordinators prior to application. You can contact us using this email address: .
• Be a US citizen, Permanent Resident, or be part of the DACA program
• Passion, drive, and commitment to completing a rigorous program in the chemical or biochemical sciences
• Want/need research experience, coursework, mentorship to progress toward educational/career goals

Additional Requirements for the American Chemical Society Bridge Program (ACS-BP Only)

• Accepted into (ACS-BP Only – see requirements below)
  • Requirement regardless of application method
• Any non-chemistry major applicants must have completed core chemistry requirements to be considered ().
• Applicants must satisfy one or more of the following criteria in the current academic year:
  • Did not apply to a chemical science graduate program; or
  • Applied to one or more chemical science graduate programs but were not accepted by any program

Guaranteed Admission Requirements

• Students who have a cumulative, unweighted high school GPA of 2.0 or higher.
• Students age 20 and over with a high school diploma or a GED score of 145 or higher on all four sections.

Reviewed Admission

• If you do not meet the Guaranteed Admission Requirements, your application will be reviewed for admission with an official high school transcript, a personal statement, and an optional letter of recommendation.
• What we look for on your academic record: courses taken, factors that may have influenced your academic performance and activities you鈥檙e involved in. Please share information you feel is important.
