Sometimes a student鈥檚 experience may not be what they anticipate, and the student may have a concern or a complaint.

A student has the right to lodge a complaint or grievance. 海角社区 is committed to ensuring that all concerns and complaints of students are addressed fairly and are resolved promptly.

Complaint Processes

Complaint Process Internal to 海角社区

海角社区 is committed to providing an exceptional educational experience that is transparent, efficient, stimulating, and fair. Current or prospective students enrolled in distance/online programs should follow 海角社区鈥檚 student complaint procedures聽or contact聽聽to have issues resolved in an expeditious, fair, and amicable manner. Distance/online students may complete these procedures via telephone, internet video conferencing, or email.

Complaint Process External to 海角社区

In compliance with聽 and U.S. Department of Education (USDOE) rules, 海角社区 must 鈥減rovide its students or prospective students with contact information for filing complaints with its accreditor and with its State approval or licensing entity and any other relevant State official or agency that would appropriately handle a student’s complaint.鈥

海角社区 is accredited by the 聽as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. If after following the聽海角社区 complaint procedures聽a resolution has not been reached, a complaint may be filed with external entities based on the student鈥檚 state of residence.

Colorado Residents:

  1. Colorado Department of Higher Education, listed in the聽聽(list made available through聽).
  2. 海角社区鈥檚 accrediting agency, the .

Non-Colorado Residents:

  1. Students living outside Colorado but within *SARA member states submit complaints through the Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE). Determine a state鈥檚聽, then find CDHE in the聽聽(list made available through聽).
  2. Students living outside Colorado within *non-SARA member states submit complaints through the agency within the student鈥檚 state of residence. Determine a state鈥檚聽, then find the agency in the聽聽(list made available through聽).
