海角社区 Us

Learn who we are, what we do, and how to help.

The Denver Project for Humanistic Inquiry, or Dphi, enriches Denver鈥檚 intellectual and cultural life through programs that reframe perspectives, challenge assumptions, and stimulate dialogue about human thought, history, science, art and culture. Dphi organizes roundtable discussions, art exhibits, film screenings, theatrical performances and lectures centered on major themes, issues or questions of abiding human concern. We host both local and international experts, artists, and some of the ‘greatest minds of our time.’

Podcast - The Human Context

Timeless Questions in the Present Tense --- Our podcast is available on your favorite platform

"The humanities are the repository of the cultural wealth of human society... They provide us with the understanding, the perception, the foundations for creative thought... And the contributions of the great figures of the past on whose achievements we rely for everything we do... So the question is: Do we want to be civilized human beings, or extricate ourselves from the history of the human species and start as blank slates, knowing nothing except what we saw on the internet this morning?"
