Fall is in the air, which means the fourth annual Socktober giving event is here! Keep your toes warm and show your Roadrunner pride when you make a gift to support 海角社区 students.
For every听gift of $25 ($15 is tax-deductible) you make to the听Rowdy’s Corner Food Pantry,听Student Emergency Fund听or the听DREAMer Emergency Fund听during Socktober- Oct. 1-31 –听you will receive one pair of limited-edition 海角社区听socks AND one pair of socks will be donated to a student in need.听Want a warmer sock?听Get your 海角社区 ski sock with a gift of $35.听
With the support of our Roadrunner family, last year was our most successful Socktober yet! Over 315 donors contributed more than $16,000, bringing our听three-year Socktober total to over $46,000 and more than 1,650 pairs of socks donated! Your generosity knocks our socks off!听

A small act of kindness can have a huge impact on the life of an 海角社区 student.听Here are just some of the ways your support is helping our Roadrunners:
- Rowdy’s Corner Food Pantry听–听The Student Care Center helps fight hunger and food insecurity at 海角社区 by听meeting the nutritional needs of听hundreds of hungry students every semester.听Last academic year,听the food pantry served听1,335 students.听
- Student Emergency Fund听–听Last year,听our students submitted over 350 applications requesting emergency support. Your generosity allows 海角社区 to provide emergency stipends to students dealing with an unanticipated life event that might otherwise cause them to stop or pause their educational goals.
- DREAMer Emergency Fund听–听This fund was created to听provide direct relief grants to our DREAMer students experiencing听financial needs. Because of the support of our donors,听12 students were awarded $11,750听from the fund this summer.
Get ready to show your Roadrunner pride down to your toes this fall by making a gift during Socktober, and together, we can ensure 海角社区 students have the resources they need to rise and reimagine a future where anything is possible.

Ski Socks
This year we will also be offering a ski sock for a gift of $35. Keep your toes warm this winter while you support 海角社区 students with your gift.
Previous-Year Sock Packs
Missed out on previous year’s socks? Make your听gift of $85 ($45 is tax-deductible), you will receive all four of our听Socktober听sock designs from the past three years. The best part is,听FOUR pairs of socks will be donated to a student in need for every sock package gift.听There are a limited number of sock packages available, so get them before they run out!
