The ombuds resource provides a confidential, off-the-record space where faculty, staff, administrators and student-employees can share their concerns, explore possible next steps toward resolution and become better equipped to move forward productively.

Ombuds team members can share relevant University resources and policies, talk through ways to raise an issue informally or formally, coach people through how to have difficult conversations, facilitate conversations between two or more people, work with groups in conflict, and more.

The º£½ÇÉçÇø Ombuds Team was established under The charter incorporates by reference the  of the International Ombuds Association (IOA) and requires adherence by the º£½ÇÉçÇø Ombuds Team. The charter, as well as the IOA Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, contain important information about the º£½ÇÉçÇø Ombuds Team and the manner in which it functions.
