Purpose: Conflicts of Interest, including Conflicts of Commitment, or even the appearance of a Conflict, can erode public trust, undermine the reputation of the University, and may expose º£½ÇÉçÇø to liability. All employees of º£½ÇÉçÇø must endeavor to remain free of outside interests that would improperly influence their decisions and actions taken on behalf of the University. The purpose of this policy is to define a Conflict of Interest and a Conflict of Commitment, to help prevent Conflicts from arising, and provide a means for º£½ÇÉçÇø to act if a Conflict of Interest or Conflict of Commitment arises.
Scope: This policy applies to all º£½ÇÉçÇø administrators, staff, and non- student employees who are exempt from the State of Colorado personnel system in accordance with This policy does not apply to affiliates of º£½ÇÉçÇø.
