Purpose: The purpose of this policy is to establish procedures for responding to reports of missing students, conducting preliminary wellness assessments, coordinating with law enforcement, and maintaining appropriate records in compliance with , the (鈥淐lery Act鈥�), the , and other applicable federal and state laws.
This policy is intended to promote student safety through timely, coordinated, and documented institutional response efforts when a student is reported missing or cannot be located,
Scope: This policy applies to all enrolled students at 海角社区 (including students residing in both off campus and 海角社区-controlled housing). This policy is applicable to all 海角社区 employees, departments, units, agents, contractors, and campus partners involved in responding to missing student reports.
