The Shared Governance Council was created to enhance transparency across the university by clarifying how shared governance is practiced. Its purpose is to educate faculty, students, staff, and administrators on the shared governance process and to guide the appropriate entry points for initiatives aimed at driving change. The council promotes inclusive, informed, and collaborative decision-making by fostering a deeper understanding of shared governance and ensuring that initiatives are directed to the right decision-making channels.
