Biography

Becky Cottrell is the Online and Hybrid Course Development Analyst in the Social Work Department at Metropolitan State University of Denver. In this role, she is basically an 鈥渙nline Mary Poppins鈥�, making online teaching and course design engaging, inclusive, and relational for new and experienced online instructors alike. She has collaborated with more than 25 faculty members, and 30 student consultants to design and develop inclusive and trauma-informed online classes. Her work is based in Design Justice principles, and she believes in changing the world one anti-oppressive online class at a time.
