Meet the Team
Katie Strain is a听triple-TTB Certified Chemist听for the analysis of beer, wine, and spirits for export.听 She helped to open and promote the Beverage Analytics QA/QC Lab in April of 2019, and has been the acting Laboratory Manager ever since.听听Katie came to 海角社区 from Southern Illinois University- Carbondale, where she earned a听Master of Science听with a focus on method development and validation of soil and water samples听taken from听large-scale agricultural fields and aquatic microcosms.
After graduation,听蝉丑别听worked as the Lab Manager for the Fermentation Science Institute, which is where she听focused her analytical expertise on alcoholic beverages.听听Katie is a lecturer in the 海角社区 School of Hospitality Brewery Operations Program, where she teaches听, , , and .听听听听
