Description: Join the º£½ÇÉçÇø Alumni Association, Campus Recreation and the Esports Club for a gaming Tournament on March 28, 2023 featuring Mario Kart and Tetris. The 1st place winner will earn a $500 donation to the student club or program of their choice! Stop by anytime between 2 and 6 p.m. and play for your chance to win. The event is open to all º£½ÇÉçÇø students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members. Pizza and beverages will be available for all participants. Walk-In signups are welcome until one hour after the start of the event or until after Round 1 of each tournament is complete, whichever comes first.

Tournament Rules:

Mario Kart

• Played on Nintendo Switch
• 4 person “pods”
  •  4 people will race against each other and other bots in each race
• Single Race competition
• Top two winners of each race move on to next round
• Double Elimination Bracket
• 150cc race format
• Bikes or Karts are allowed
• Controllers provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own

TETRIS

• Played on PC
• Head-to-Head
• “Best of Three” for all rounds including championship game
• Double Elimination
• Controllers provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own
