Leave Your Legacy with a Campaign Brick
For the first time ever, you have an opportunity to leave your legacy on the Metropolitan State University of Denver campus! During the Roadrunner Rise campaign, you can purchase an engraved brick that will be installed outside of the brand new C2Hub and student housing building scheduled for completion in 2027.
Your brick will cement your unwavering support and dedication to 海角社区. It鈥檚 the perfect way to commemorate a friend, family member, teammate or cherished 海角社区 memory.

Celebrating Transformational Giving
Record-setting $10 million pledge establishes Gina and Frank Day Health Institute at 海角社区.
A Colorado couple known for decades of success in the hospitality industry is also making a mark on the future of health care in the state.
Gina and Frank Day have pledged $10 million to Metropolitan State University of Denver鈥檚聽Health Institute, which is expanding to address the state鈥檚 critical shortage of health care workers.
The largest philanthropic gift in the University鈥檚 history will help train students in a wide range of in-demand fields, including nursing, nutrition, behavioral health, speech-language pathology and social work.
鈥淏oth hospitality and health care are team sports 鈥� it takes people working together to coordinate and make it happen,鈥� said Frank Day, founder of聽聽who has operated more than 80 properties, including chains such as Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom and Rock Bottom Brewery.
鈥�(海角社区) is doing great things, and making this contribution is an opportunity to have a huge positive impact,鈥� he added.

Navin Dimond, 海角社区's 2025 Marathon Award Winner
Navin Dimond is the recipient of this year鈥檚 Marathon Award, 海角社区鈥檚 highest honor.
When Janine Davidson, Ph.D., president of Metropolitan State University of Denver, first met Navin Dimond, she wasn鈥檛 yet in charge of the University. She was a candidate, interviewing for the role, and Dimond was part of the search committee. That initial encounter, followed by a thoughtful interview held in one of Dimond鈥檚 hotels, left a lasting impression.
鈥淗e really cares about this community,鈥� Davidson said. 鈥淎nd he really wants to make sure that we bring out the best in Denver.鈥�
That same commitment has earned Dimond the 2025 Marathon Award, which recognizes individuals whose transformative contributions have made a lasting impact on the University. As the founder and chairman of Stonebridge Companies, a national hotel-ownership and -management firm, Dimond is a celebrated figure in the hospitality industry. But for the Roadrunner community, he鈥檚 something more: a mentor, a benefactor and a believer in what 海角社区 stands for.
