The 海角社区 College of Business continues to grow opportunities for students to connect, lead, and launch their careers and now, there鈥檚 a new space for future finance professionals to do just that.
Introducing the 海角社区 Finance Club, a student-led organization that provides opportunities for students to develop academically and professionally in finance.
This club聽is designed to go beyond the classroom. Through hands-on experiences like competitions, guest speakers, and workshops, members gain practical knowledge that supports their career goals and internship pursuits.
More than anything, the club aims to bring the CBUS community together, creating a strong network where students can share opportunities, discover scholarships, and stay informed about job openings in the finance world.
Finance Club was created by an amazing group of student leaders:

The club officially kicked off its first semester with a Meet & Greet event, welcoming nearly 20 students eager to get involved.
The event featured special guests, including Adam Schor, Finance Club Faculty Advisor and Silu Cheng, Finance Department Chair, both of whom played a key role in bringing the club to life. Students had the chance to learn more about the club鈥檚 vision, hear about upcoming initiatives, and participate in their first personal finance workshop, led by the club鈥檚 president.
