Ready to find out what º£½ÇÉçÇø can do for you? We’ve got you covered.
Life as a cadet is a balance of academics, leadership development, and military training. From early morning physical fitness to classroom instruction, hands-on leadership labs, and extracurricular activities, every week is designed to challenge and grow you as a future Army officer. While each day brings something new, cadets quickly develop routines, build discipline, and strengthen bonds with their peers. This page gives you a snapshot of what a typical week looks like as part of our program.
Note: If you play a sport for a university or university club and have practice at certain times we can discuss what your PT options or lab participation may look like.
We currently conduct PT 2–3 times a week early morning (typically a Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Your day will start bright and earlyÌýcompared to what you may be used to, butÌý¾±³Ù’sÌýone of the best ways to begin your day! Depending on the training program,Ìý²â´Ç³Ü’l±ôÌýfocus on strength, muscular endurance, long-distance running, or sprints. Throughout the semester, we also host friendly squad competitions and sports to keep training fun and competitive.
Military Science lectures are held twice a week in the morning, with times depending on your year group. In this classroom setting,Ìý²â´Ç³Ü’l±ôÌýnot only learn how to be a successfulÌýleader, butÌýalso develop your individual military skill sets to make you more effective in not just your labs but in the Army. Topics range from Land Navigation, Route Planning, and Tactical Field Care to many more essential soldiering skills.
Once a week, one of our highly motivated cadets leads a remedial training program for those who want extra reps in a particular skill area. Regardless of your year group, everyone is encouraged toÌýparticipate and sharpen their knowledge on specific topics. This is also a great time to reach out to the cadre in case you would like any extra training or a more in depth explanation you are interested in.Ìý
Once a week all cadets participateÌýin Leadership Lab at the same time to put classroom lessons into practice in a simulated environment. This is whereÌý²â´Ç³Ü’l±ôÌýbegin mastering your craft. Labs are led by Senior Cadets and supported by Cadre. Your Senior Cadets know what it takes to succeed and will share their experience and knowledge to prepare you for Cadet Basic and Advanced Camp.
Times are Team Dependent
If you join a special team—such as Color Guard, Ranger Challenge, or others—this is where ²â´Ç³Ü’l±ô dedicate additional time supporting the program. These times may be conducted during your PT hours or whenever your team is available. We highly encourage cadets to participate in special teams. These unique opportunities allow you to represent the military, build camaraderie, and create lasting bonds with your fellow cadets.
Beyond the weekly training and academics, cadets alsoÌýhave the opportunity toÌýparticipateÌýin extracurricular activities, often held on weekends. These include volunteering events that strengthen ties with the local community, social gatherings to build camaraderie outside of uniform, and extended training opportunities such as Super Labs that provideÌýadditionalÌýhands-on experience. These activities give cadets the chance to apply leadership in different settings, foster stronger connections with their peers, and represent the program both on and off campusÌý
