The fund is established to provide financial support to students seeking professional teaching licensure during the semester of their full-time student teaching. This fund is in recognition of and hopes to alleviate the challenges and sacrifices students face carrying the full-time commitment of student teaching, which, for so many, conflicts with their ability to support themselves.
