The Health Career Opportunity Program (HCOP) includes scholarship, professional development and mentorship for 海角社区 students interested in entering health and behavioral health fields.

Eligibility requirements:听
- Current undergraduate 海角社区 students听听
- 2.5+ GPA鈥�听
- Declared major鈥痠n one of the following:听
- Nutrition听
- Psychological Sciences听听
- Social Work听
- Human Performance and Sport听
- Biology听
- Chemistry and Biochemistry听
- Health Professions听
- Human Services and Counseling听
- Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences听
The following student groups are encouraged to apply:听听
- Transfer students with at least 60 credits听听
- Pell-eligible students听
- First generation students听听
- Underrepresented minorities (including immigrants and refugees who are permanent U.S. residents)听
- Non-traditional students (age 25 and older)听听
- Veterans听
