The Health Career Opportunity Program (HCOP) includes scholarship, professional development and mentorship for º£½ÇÉçÇø students interested in entering health and behavioral health fields.

Eligibility requirements:Ìý

  • Current undergraduate º£½ÇÉçÇø studentsÌýÌý
  • 2.5+ GPA Ìý
  • Declared major in one of the following:Ìý
    • NutritionÌý
    • Psychological SciencesÌýÌý
    • Social WorkÌý
    • Human Performance and SportÌý
    • BiologyÌý
    • Chemistry and BiochemistryÌý
    • Health ProfessionsÌý
    • Human Services and CounselingÌý
    • Speech, Language, Hearing SciencesÌý

The following student groups are encouraged to apply:ÌýÌý

  • Transfer students with at least 60 creditsÌýÌý
  • Pell-eligible studentsÌý
  • First generation studentsÌýÌý
  • Underrepresented minorities (including immigrants and refugees who are permanent U.S. residents)Ìý
  • Non-traditional students (age 25 and older)ÌýÌý
  • VeteransÌý
