º£½ÇÉçÇø’s Skills Lab is designed to accelerate a return to work for those who have been laid off or need to retool for a different career. The COVID-19 pandemic has devastated workers across the globe, and Denver is no exception. º£½ÇÉçÇø is committed to working with its communities to provide the skills and competencies needed in high-growth industries such as data science, e-commerce, health and human services, IT and cybersecurity, and essential office skills.

º£½ÇÉçÇø’s Skills Lab has taken the guesswork (and the legwork) out of retooling and reskilling for high-growth Denver-area jobs. Based on extensive market research, we’ve identified positions and industries that are growing — and the skills they require — and curated a group of short, online labs designed to prepare you to quickly step back into the workforce.

The º£½ÇÉçÇø Skills Lab is a free service to the community. All trainings are available online, are self-paced and require a simple two-step registration process. You can immediately begin gaining new, marketable, in-demand skills and complete courses as your schedule allows. Labs are available in two formats:

• Industry-supplied software training in growing industries, such as Alteryx for business analytics
• º£½ÇÉçÇø faculty-led labs that help you apply your learning to real-world situations

After successfully completing a faculty-led Skills Lab, including an assessment, you will receive a digital badge from º£½ÇÉçÇø that indicates the skills you’ve built. You can include this badge on your resume, LinkedIn page, portfolio, or share it with a potential employer.
