The Online Instructional Design and Technology Certificate at º£½ÇÉçÇø covers the core of what this field actually requires: design thinking, digital learning tools, multimedia development, emerging technologies, and how people learn. The five courses build on each other and connect theory to practice throughout.
The field is broader than most people expect. Instructional designers work in corporate training departments, health care organizations, K-12 and higher education, nonprofit organizations, military and government agencies, publishing companies, and media production. If your current job involves training, curriculum, or helping people learn something, this certificate formalizes and expands that skill set.
This is an undergraduate certificate, meaning it’s the right choice if you haven’t yet completed a bachelor’s degree. Every credit counts toward a bachelor’s degree if you decide to continue. If you already hold a bachelor’s degree, the post-baccalaureate version of this certificate is designed for you and covers the same field at the same rigor.
