We’re excited you’re joining the Roadrunner community! Orientation is designed to help you prepare for your first semester, connect with peers, meet your academic advisor, and learn about campus resources. This page will guide you through each step of the process so you know what to expect and how to get started.

To get started, you’ll complete Pre-Orientation Modules. These modules help you learn information about º£½ÇÉçÇø and information before meeting with an advisor or attending orientation.
What to do:
Sign in to the Orientation system using your º£½ÇÉçÇø credentials.
Complete all Pre-Orientation Modules at your own pace.
Once finished, sign up for your News Student Advising and Registration session.
After your advising session is scheduled, register for your New Student Orientation session.
New Student Advising and Registration is your dedicated time to meet with an academic advisor and register for your first semester’s courses at º£½ÇÉçÇø.
Please note: This day is for students only — guests are not allowed.
What to expect:
You will meet with an advisor to review your academic plan.
³Û´Ç³Ü’l±ô register for your classes during this session.
Before you attend, make sure you have:
Submitted all official transcripts (including college, AP/IB, and concurrent/dual enrollment, if applicable).
Completed the Math Placement (if required).
Completed the English Writing Placement Survey.
New Student Orientation Session is your chance to start finding your community at º£½ÇÉçÇø. ³Û´Ç³Ü’l±ô connect with other new students, meet people in your major and college, and explore the resources that will support your success.
Families and supporters are welcome to attend, but students must register them for the session.
Orientation Day Schedule (tentative and subject to change)
Check-In: 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM
Welcome Presentation: 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM
Student Groups: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Lunch: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Campus Connect: 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM
Starting college is a big transition, and º£½ÇÉçÇø is here to support students every step of the way. After Orientation, students are highly encouraged to attend Rowdy Rally and Welcome Week events, where they can connect with peers, explore campus resources, and begin building their Roadrunner community. These programs are designed to help students feel confident, supported, and prepared for a successful start to the semester.
You must complete the pre-orientation modules before you register for your New Student Advising and Registration session and your New Student Orientation session. Finishing the modules early will help you feel prepared, understand important next steps, and make the registration process smoother. We recommend completing them as soon as possible.
An Orientation Hold appears on your account to indicate that you need to complete Orientation. Once you attend your Orientation session, this hold will be removed.
An Advising Hold appears on your account when you need to meet with an academic advisor before registering for classes. This hold will be removed once you meet with your advisor during your advising session.
Families and supporters are welcome at the in person New Student Orientation Session only. Families and supporters must b e pre-registered for these sessions by the student.

Orientation registration opens at different times depending on your start term:
Spring semester: Opens prior to November.
