Sharpen your communication skills by presenting at an undergraduate research conference. An important component of the undergraduate research experience is sharing your research and creative scholarship with other scholars, students, legislators, and other members of the community and conferences are one avenue of dissemination. You will also have the opportunity to strengthen your networking skills. Presenting at a conference makes an impressive addition to your resume or CV

Each spring 海角社区 holds the Annual Undergraduate Research Conference: A symposium of Scholarly Works and Creative Projects.

聽celebrates and promotes undergraduate research聽and creative scholarship from all disciplines. The conference is held annually in April.
Each spring, the Council on Undergraduate Research hosts an annual undergraduate poster session on Capitol Hill. At this event and its related activities, members of Congress and their staff members learn about the importance of undergraduate research through talking directly with the student researchers involved in these programs.
Posters on the Hill 2021 will take place virtually but will include the critical elements of a traditional POH signature event, including:
- Opportunities to virtually meet with your members of Congress
- Resources on advocacy for undergraduate research
- A virtual poster showcase
The deadline to submit is January 22, 2021.P
