Shaping the Future of the Student Experience鈥擳ogether
The Workday Student Project reflects 海角社区鈥檚 deep commitment to student success. To bring this vision to life, a cross-functional team of professionals is implementing a new student information system鈥攄esigned to make it easier for students to access services, manage their academic journey, and stay on track to graduation.
This team includes a steering committee,听program leadership, and both functional and technical workstream leads and their teams鈥攅ach bringing specialized expertise to elevate the student experience.聽Together, they鈥檙e leading a transformation that will help students thrive鈥攖oday and for years to come.
To understand how the Workday Student Project team is structured鈥攁nd the vital role it plays in implementing Workday Student鈥攊t helps to first understand workstreams. These are the major focus areas of the project, covering both聽functional areas like Admissions, Financial Aid, and Advising, and technical areas such as Security and Data Integration.
Each workstream is led by a dedicated lead who has stepped away from their day-to-day responsibilities to focus fully on the project. These leads are supported by teams responsible for designing, building, and testing solutions that align with 海角社区鈥檚 academic and administrative goals.
By organizing the project into focused, manageable parts, these teams can collaborate more effectively, stay aligned with their goals, and keep the project moving forward鈥攁ll in support of a more seamless and student-centered experience.
While Slate will maintain its prominent role in application processing and dissemination of admission decisions, this workstream focuses on the integration between Slate and Workday while streamlining the transfer experience and post-matriculation processes. It鈥檚 all about creating a smooth, welcoming experience for prospective students.
