F-1 Visa Application Process

New F-1 Students

If you need to be issued an F-1 visa to attend º£½ÇÉçÇø, you must apply for your visa. You will receive your I-20 documents from ourÌýInternational Student Support (ISS) team by email.

Complete the (Form DS-160), schedule your visa interview appointment at a United States Embassy or Consulate, pay your visa application fee and attend your visa interview. Don’t forget to bring all required documents to the interview.

Students already in U.S. with F-1 Visa

If you are already in the U.S. on an F-1 visa, you must completeÌýboth sectionsÌýof theÌýTransfer-In Form with your current DSO.

°¿³Ü°ùÌýInternational Student SupportÌýteam will not start the transfer process until they receive the completed form from your current DSO.

Next Steps to Enroll at º£½ÇÉçÇø

Set up your º£½ÇÉçÇø student account
Access your º£½ÇÉçÇø NetID to set up your student email account and the Student Hub, by using the tool. You can find your NetID in your electronic acceptance letter, accessible within your . You will also need to save your acceptance letter for your visa interview.


Sign Up for New Student Orientation
Make sure to attend the in-person orientation session for International Students. Sign up today!


Meet Your Advisor
You should receive advising during your New Student Orientation session. If not, you must set up an appointment with your advisor prior to selecting classes.ÌýFind your advisor and make an appointment.

Register for Classes
You should register for classes during orientation. If not, you register for classes on yourÌýStudent Hub, which is where you can edit your schedule, too.


Check in with International Student Support
Physical check-in is mandatory. You will do this at orientation. If you miss your orientation session, you will need to contact International Student Support immediately.


Pay Your Tuition
Pay tuition and fees via the Student Hub or at the Cashier’s office (located in the Jordan Success Building, Counter 5) by 5 pm on the Friday before classes begin. Contact the Office of the Bursar if you have any questions about your bill.

Financial Aid

Apply for º£½ÇÉçÇø Scholarships

Select º£½ÇÉçÇø as the recipient school. International students cannot receive state financial aid. However, completing this application is an eligibility requirement for several º£½ÇÉçÇø institutional scholarships.

Please remember these awards are offered on a first-come, first served basis. Meeting minimum qualifications does NOT guarantee you will be offered one of these awards.


CAFSA Help

The Office of Immigrant Services helps students completing the CASFA application. Immigrant Services are available to help º£½ÇÉçÇø students and families one-on-one with completing their aid applications via virtual appointments.ÌýÌý

The Writing Center can help with any writing assignment, in any stage of the writing process. Assignments could include summary/response papers, journals, case studies, research projects, collaborative projects, digital projects, resumes, applications, presentations, and more!

Open to all º£½ÇÉçÇø students, faculty, and staff: The provides an accessible outpatient service devoted to helping students meet their health care needs at a low cost.Ìý


Counseling Center
Balancing the demands of college life can be difficult. Personal stress – such as financial pressures, relationship issues, and dealing with the transition to a new country and culture – can leave you feeling worn out.
The staff can help you find ways to manage difficult times and provide you with a comforting place. You do not have to have a mental illness to find talking with a counselor helpful.Ìý
