Ready to find out what 海角社区 can do for you? We鈥檝e got you covered.
The following tips are important for donors and recipients regarding the processing of private scholarships at 海角社区.
Students must be in good academic standing for most scholarships to be credited to the student鈥檚 account.
To understand our Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy, please view our undergraduate student page or our graduate student financial aid page as applicable.
Scholarship checks should be made payable to the Metropolitan State University of Denver and reference the recipient鈥檚 name(s) and 海角社区 student ID number(s) at the bottom of the check or on a separate letter.聽Note:聽making checks co-payable between the student and the university will delay disbursement of the scholarship funds to the student鈥檚 account.
Please provide the full name(s), contact person(s), address and phone number of your organization so that we can contact you if necessary.
If the student does not enroll, we will return the funds to the donors after census date, which occurs two weeks after the first day of classes each semester. If the donor requires verification of enrollment please contact the Office of the Registrar.
If the donor requires an invoice before a check can be issued, please contact the Office of the Bursar.
It is the student鈥檚 responsibility to pay their bill on time. The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will not waive late and service charges on scholarship payments that arrive in our office after the bill due date.
If the donor requires grade transcripts at the end of each semester, they should contact the scholarship recipients. It is the responsibility of the student to provide copies of their transcripts to their donors.
罢丑别听海角社区 Foundation offers hundreds of privately funded scholarships to students every year, based on academics, achievement and financial need. The only way to apply for this is through our online application system. The priority deadline to complete the general scholarship application process is March 1. Scholarship applications received on or before March 1 are given priority consideration in the awarding process. Scholarship applications received after this date may still be considered. We encourage you to apply even if you miss the extended March 1 priority date. There are individual scholarship opportunities that have a due date beyond the General Scholarship Application priority date.
