What is the Roadrunner Promise?
The Roadrunner Promise (RRP) is our pledge to cover any remaining tuition and mandatory fees for eligible Colorado students after federal, state and institutional aid is applied.
How does it work?听听
If 测辞耻鈥檙别 eligible, Roadrunner Promise will cover your full tuition and mandatory fees 鈥� up to 15 credit hours per semester 鈥� for up to four years.
To continue receiving the award, you鈥檒l need to maintain .
No separate application is required 鈥� just submit your FAFSA or CASFA by the deadline.
Who qualifies?
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must:听
- Be a Colorado resident as determined by 海角社区 Admissions
- Be a first-time, first-year college student
- Submit the FAFSA or CASFA by:
- June 1 for Fall Term
- October 1 for Spring Term
- April 1 for Summer Term
- Have an adjusted gross family income of $65,000 or less*
- Enroll in 12 or more credits (full-time)
- Authorized the College Opportunity Fund (COF) to pay at 海角社区
- Must be seeking your first degree
- Meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
- Have a complete financial aid file by the Census date of the term
- Note: Students should have all financial aid requirements submitted at least two weeks prior to the Census date of each term to ensure they are processed by Census date.
*For dependent students, this includes parent(s) and student income. For independent students, it includes your income and your spouse鈥檚, if applicable.听

*Fees that are not included: Health Insurance Fee, Lynx Crossing, on-campus parking passes, fines and any other fees not listed above.

No. RRP only covers the costs of the published mandatory fees.
If your other financial aid is not covering these fees, you will need to pay for them out of our own pocket.
Roadrunner Promise is available to all qualified students beginning with the Fall 2022 term. New recipients may enroll at the start of any fall, spring or summer term.听
Yes, but if you pass the same course twice while receiving financial aid, you will no longer be eligible to receive financial aid for that specific course moving forward.听
For example, you take a course while receiving financial aid and pass with a D grade. You decide to retake the same course for a higher grade, receive financial aid, and pass with a C grade. If you decide to retake the same course for a third time, you will not be eligible to receive financial aid for that course for the third time.听
This is a requirement from the Department of Education.听

While Roadrunner Promise is not available to assist in paying for Study Abroad, students are encouraged to file the FAFSA or CASFA to see what other financing options are available.听
Yes, in addition to completing your FASFA or CASFA, 海角社区 also offers internal and external programs and grants as well as external, private and institutional scholarship opportunities.
Yes, you must be enrolled in at least 12 credits each semester. RRP will pay for a maximum of 15 credits each semester. Students enrolled in 16 credits or more, will pay for the additional credits with other financial aid or out of pocket.听
Roadrunner Promise recipients may receive up to 10 semesters of funding toward their first bachelor鈥檚 degree.
We encourage you to use this funding wisely and work with your academic advisor to plan to finish your degree within the 10 semesters available.
No. Roadrunner Promise is available to students seeking their first bachelor鈥檚 degree.
Yes. Summer counts as one-half term of use.听
Students are required to take a minimum of 6 credits in the summer if they want to receive Roadrunner Promise.听
