Equipment and Tools
Stratasys 900 Fortus 900 mc - Built for the production environment, the F900 has the ability to create large parts or multiple smaller parts in the broadest array of FDM materials. With the largest build chamber available among FDM printers, the F900 enables additive manufacturing at scale while delivering consistent, accurate results.
OMAX Water Jet PROTO MAX - A cutting process that cuts by using supersonic water, or water and abrasive, to erode material. Self-contained cutting system ideally suited for prototyping and low-volume cutting of almost any material.
Boss Laser Cutter HP2436 - Large format laser that can cut and engrave a wide variety of material including metal, wood and plastic. It can cut material up to 36鈥漻24鈥� in size
Creality 3D Printer Ender-5 Plus - 13.7 x 13.7 x 15.7 in. A 3D printer capable of making reasonably large prints of above-average quality

Eli Nygren, Industry Lab Coordinator
Eli seeks to understand material systems from all angles leading him to earn a PhD in Materials Science. His fabrication skills expanded from primarily manual operations to include computer navigated systems in various laboratory and makerspace settings. He now enjoys utilizing a full spectrum of manufacturing and creative techniques to support both industry and student projects.
