The Advanced Manufacturing Sciences Institute (AMSI) provides expert, comprehensive in-house manufacturing capabilities including 3D Printing, CNC Machining, Laser Cutting and Engraving, WaterJet Cutting, Metal Forming and Cutting, Welding, Metal Finishing, and Woodworking.

Mark Yoss, Director

Mark retired from Lockheed Martin Space after a 36.5-year career building satellites and has served as the Director of the Advanced Manufacturing Sciences Institute since April 2021.

Jason W. Butler, Senior Project Manager Technical Operations

Jason is a manufacturing industry leader with 20+ years of experience driving production, quality, and engineering operations in defense and commercial sectors. Recognized for hands-on expertise in CNC machining, additive manufacturing, quality systems, and process optimization.

Eli Nygren, Industry Lab Coordinator

Eli seeks to understand material systems from all angles leading him to earn a PhD in Materials Science. His fabrication skills expanded from primarily manual operations to include computer navigated systems in various laboratory and makerspace settings. He now enjoys utilizing a full spectrum of manufacturing and creative techniques to support both industry and student projects.
