º£½ÇÉçÇø

International Welcoming

F-1 students that are new to º£½ÇÉçÇø need to partake in the International Student Welcoming. The Welcoming event is different from the New Student Orientation. While the New Student Orientation covers information about life at º£½ÇÉçÇø, it doesn’t cover information that is specifically for F-1 Students. The International Student Welcoming is primarily about maintaining and understanding the rules and regulations of your non-immigrant student status.  The International Student Welcoming is an on-campus event for both graduate and undergraduate students.  You can register !

Please bring the following original documents with you:

  • I-94 ( https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/history-search)
  • Passport
  • Visa
  • Current I-20

Students who do not bring these documents cannot have their I-20 registered as a part of the DSO check-in. Copies or digital versions are not accepted.

Meeting your DSO is federally mandated for all F-1 students. Every international student must report to International Student Support and have their immigration documents reviewed.
