The Center for Urban Education (CUE) works collaboratively with º£½ÇÉçÇø’s Department of Admissions and Outreach and with initiatives and programs across the campus that are focused on serving urban students and their families. º£½ÇÉçÇø faculty design and teach classes in our after-school and 9^th grade summer camp programs, and º£½ÇÉçÇø students serve as paid tutors, mentors and teaching assistants.

CUE has benefited from the support of affiliate/tenure faculty from the following º£½ÇÉçÇø programs and departments: Anthropology, Center for Visual Arts, Computer Science, Chicana/o Studies, Criminal Justice, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, Economics, Education, Engineering Technology, English, Learning Communities and First-Year Success, Mathematics, Nursing, Nutrition, Philosophy, Psychology, and Theatre.

CUE also works to leverage resources through partnerships with complementary º£½ÇÉçÇø initiatives:

In partnership with Denver Public Schools, CUE makes summer tutoring programs available to students throughout the district and provides a rich array of after-school activities and learning opportunities at three middle and high schools, through the 21^st Century College Readiness Center.
