Johnny Adams - Mathematics Major
Johnny Adams is a Mathematics major at 海角社区 with a deep interest in secondary education teaching and coaching. Currently, he serves as a Research Assistant for the Noyce UR STEM program, where he specializes in the manual coding and analysis of teacher candidate experiences. His work involves transforming qualitative survey data specifically reflections on Noyce Scholar Near Peer Observations into categorized data sets. The development of the Noyce teacher candidate observation program was inspired by Dr. Freeman Hrabowski III from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Beyond the technical aspect of coding, he works closely with the research authors, Dr. Janelle Johnson and Dr. Daniel Moore, to ensure our analysis is consistent and precise, helping to bridge the gap between student reflections and scholarly insights.
