If you鈥檙e exploring your options or haven鈥檛 selected a major, Exploratory Advising offers drop-in appointments beginning Wednesday, Aug. 12 through Friday, Aug. 21 at JSSB Window #2 from 9a – 11:30am or 1p – 3:30pm.
Non-Degree Seeking students take classes without pursuing a degree at 海角社区. This is different from being an Exploratory (Undeclared) student. If your class has prerequisites, contact the academic department to request a prerequisite override.
General Studies courses help you make progress toward your degree. Students need 33 credit hours of General Studies coursework across multiple categories to graduate.
A course may fulfill both a major requirement and a General Studies requirement, but those credits count only once toward the 120 total credits required for graduation.

The Enrollment Management Call Center is available Monday through Thursday from 8a – 5pm and beginning at 9am on Fridays to assist our Roadrunners resolve their barriers.
ECC can also connect you with the appropriate office or location for assistance.
海角社区 has multiple semesters and parts of term, like accelerated blocks or 14-week courses, so make sure you know which classes and deadlines apply to you.

And once classes begin, participate! Each instructor determines what counts as participation, so check your course syllabus for expectations. If you don鈥檛 meet the participation requirements, you may be dropped from the course with disruption to your schedule or financial aid.
