Advisor or Coach Staffing Update Form
Supervisors use this form to inform Advising Systems of employee changes like onboarding new hires, offboarding staff who are leaving, or letting us know about someone on extended leave. After submitting this form supervisors are provided with an automated email detailing next steps.
Request Navigate360 Training
Chairs and department leads use this form to request Navigate360 training for their faculty or staff. We can do individual or group sessions either in person or virtually. Filling out this form starts a conversation about your training needs and schedule.
New Academic Planning Tool
We’re happy to introduce a new tool designed to help make advising interactions smoother and more efficient 鈥� the Next Gen Academic Planner from Navigate360. This tool is not just an upgrade; it’s a game-changer allowing advisors and students to work collaboratively and create semester-by-semester plans.
Navigate Has a New Name - Navigate360
Navigate, sometimes also called SSC Navigate or SSC, has a new name. The platform has been rebranded and is now called Navigate360. You’ll start to see the new name and logo in resources. The name was changed to reflect growth and enhancements to the product roadmap. EAB, the Navigate360 parent company, is launching new recruitment tools, adding AI features, and building in features to support advancement and fundraising.

Training and Development
New members of the advising community at 海角社区 have access to a wealth of training opportunities and materials developed within听Advising Systems. These opportunities and materials are available to professional staff advisors, faculty advisors, program coordinators, and more.
Online, In-Person, Shadowing, and More
Onboarding advisors across an institution as large as 海角社区 takes skill and coordination.听 That’s why 海角社区 has chosen to adopt a series of听online training modules aimed at educating advisors on the basics, and exposing them to new ideas, concepts, and connections on campus. The framework laid by the online training modules is then built upon by听in-person training,听shadowing, and opportunities to听meet with departments across campus听for an in-depth look at the student experience.
The Advising Coordinator for Training and Development works in partnership with the advising lead in each academic program area (or student support area, in some cases) to detail the level of engagement a new advisor needs to have with the online material as well as departmental visits.
