What Does Student Intervention Services Do?

The Office of Student Intervention Services (SIS) at º£½ÇÉçÇø engages with students that have an overall GPA below a 2.00. Our staff and advising professionals manages the through sending out informational notifications to students and providing helpful trainings for faculty and staff.

 

We offer the following services:

  • Communicating policy and registration notifications to students on Academic Notice, Academic Recovery, and Academic Suspension standing via their º£½ÇÉçÇø email.

 

  • Advising students about their academic standing, next steps for registration eligibility, and resources to help them improve their overall GPA.

 

  • Providing helpful trainings to faculty and staff about the º£½ÇÉçÇø Academic Standing Policy and academic intervention.

Please keep in mind that the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships also uses similar terms for their federally mandated financial aid status, specifically Financial Aid Suspension or SAP status (click on the ‘Satisfactory Academic Progress’ link at the top the webpage for more information).
