Educational institutions are required to file a聽, Tuition Statement, with the IRS and to provide a copy of the form to the student, for each enrolled student for whom there is a reportable transaction. A reportable transaction includes payments received, or refunds made for tuition and related expenses.

If you are an active student, your 1098-T will not be mailed to you. You can access your 1098-T online.
TO ACCESS YOUR 1098-T INFO FROM STUDENT HUB
To access your 1098-T electronically through the Student Hub to download and print from your computer, follow the steps below.

If you no longer have login access for your Student Hub account, or you wish to have a paper copy mailed to you, you will need to call the Bursar鈥檚 office at 303-615-0070 or visit in person** at the Jordan Student Success Building at 890 Auraria Parkway Suite 150, on the Auraria Campus.
In order to provide a 1098-T to you for tax purposes, the Internal Revenue Service requires you to provide your Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) to your school.
BY TAKING NO ACTION AFTER RECEIVING A REQUEST FOR YOUR SSN/ITIN, YOU ARE RISKING BEING ASSESSED A PENALTY FEE BY THE IRS!
If you have already have a SSN or ITIN, you can update your account online through the Student Hub:
You can also fill out the聽W-9S Form聽and either fax, email or hand deliver to the Office of the Bursar.
If you don’t have a SSN or ITIN, the 1098-T is reported to the IRS regardless of your visa or immigration status.
Depending on your immigration status you may be eligible to apply for a Social Security Number. To determine your eligibility, refer to the Social Security Administration鈥檚 publication,聽.
If you are ineligible to receive a Social Security Number, you may apply for the Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).
If you have received a rejection notice for you SSN/ITIN application, please provide a copy to the Bursar Office.
