Payment Options
- Pay in full听– Pay in full by the payment deadline, and avoid all service charges.
- Payment Plan – 海角社区 offers convenient payment plan options for a one-time $35 enrollment fee. The 4% fee will be waived for students who enroll in a payment plan, however, students are still subject to the monthly service charges of 1.5% throughout the semester, until the balance is paid in full. After census date, a Balance Due Hold will be placed on the student’s account if the balance is greater than $2000. Students in a payment plan will have to pay their balance down to $2000 or less in order to register for courses.
- Pay as you go听– You may choose to pay throughout the semester on your own, however,听in addition to the 4% service charge,听any unpaid balance will听be subject to a 1.5% service charge on the听7th working day of each month.听Please see the听Important Dates听publication for more information about monthly deadlines.听A听Balance Due Hold听will be placed on the student’s account until resolved.
Payment Methods
海角社区 accepts the following forms of payment for tuition and fees charges. Funds must be received by the Office of Cashiering prior to posted due dates听to avoid service charges.听 Funds may not exceed the total amount of tuition and fees charges for the given semester.听 Payments received for more than the total amount of charges may be refused.

Web check (ACH) by linking a bank account
- Payment processed through StudentHub, “Pay Tuition” link, or “Authorized Payer Account.”
- Bank routing and account numbers are required. Verifying routing and account information with your financial institution is encouraged prior to submitting the payment.
- No additional processing fees
- Return check fee of $17 assessed for check payments refused by the payer bank.听 A hold restricting payment method may be placed on accounts with more than one returned check.听 海角社区 reserves the right to require payment by cash, money order, or cashier’s check as repayment for a returned check.
Credit/Debit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express)听
- Payment processed through StudentHub, “Pay Tuition” link, or “Authorized Payer Account.”
- **As of May 17, 2021,** Non-refundable 2.75% convenience fee (service charge) applied to the payment. See the announcement published in the ‘Runner & Early Bird newsletters.
Electronic 529 Payment
- Payment processed through StudentHub, “Pay Tuition” link, or “Authorized Payer Account.”
- $10 Non-refundable 529 service fee applied to the payment.

Check, Money Order, Cashier鈥檚 Check, 529 Plan Check
- Payments received for more than the total amount of charges may be refused and returned to the sender.
- No additional processing fees.
- 529 plan payments are not initiated through 海角社区.听 Please request directly through your plan.
- Make payable to 海角社区.
- Provide 海角社区 Student ID and name with payment to ensure payment is applied to the correct student account.

Cash
The Internal Revenue Service requires 海角社区 to report cash receipts totaling $10,000 or more in a 12-month period for any one individual. If a student pays with cash for tuition, fees, or other university charges, the Office of Cashiering may require additional information from the student to file the IRS Form 8300. Please present a physical, government-issued photo identification document (ID).听 This can include a passport or state-issued driver鈥檚 license.
Payment Plans
海角社区 is now offering convenient payment plans to students, allowing you to pay in manageable monthly installments. You can use a plan to pay all or part of your tuition, avoiding the high interest rates that normally come with a traditional loan 鈥� with one low $35.00 fee听at enrollment.*

Sponsorship Authorization Form海角社区 plays a major role in educating Denver鈥檚 workforce. As a business-friendly university, 海角社区 offers a convenient way for businesses and public sector organizations to subsidize the cost of attendance.
To participate in this program:
- Print the听Sponsorship Authorization Form
- Have a human resource officer or other authorized representative from your company complete the form
- Deliver the form to the Office of the Bursar:
- Email听the form to听[email protected],听or
- Mail the form to: Metropolitan State University of Denver, Office of the Bursar, Campus Box 92, P.O. Box 173362 Denver, CO 80217-3362
Third-party Sponsor Authorization Forms must be turned into the Office of the Bursar by the Payment Deadline.听Sponsored students are responsible for all service charges incurred due to the late submission of required documents. Sponsored students are also responsible for all charges not covered by their sponsorship as well as any payments refused, or deemed uncollectible, by their sponsor. Third-party sponsors will not be billed for tuition and fees until after the last date to add/drop classes. If you have financial aid, your award will be applied to your tuition and fees first and refunds from third-party sponsors will not be issued until after payment has been received.
