海角社区 Master's Programs

Metropolitan State University of Denver is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), an institutional accreditor recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Graduate programs are included in the university鈥檚 accredited academic offerings. Some programs also operate under the regulation of discipline specific accreditors. Please find below essential information for each of 海角社区鈥檚 Master鈥檚 Programs and links to all Graduate Certificate and other non-degree programs.

The minimum number of credits to earn a Master鈥檚 degree is 30. However, due to discipline specific accreditation policies, some Master鈥檚 program require many more credits for program completion.

For more program specific information, please email your program of interest directly. You will find the contact information below.

海角社区 strongly encourages students who are interested in graduate programs that lead to professional licensure聽to consult both with their academic programs and the appropriate 聽if the Colorado State licensure will also be valid in other states. This inquiry will help students to determine if practicing outside Colorado might require additional preparations such as post-graduation exams, supplemental coursework, professional experience, fees, background checks, or other state-specific requirements.

Non-Degree/Graduate Certificate Programs

Graduate Certificate Programs are short graduate programs (often between 9 and 15 credits – exceptions apply) that lead to a graduate certificate versus a degree. They are free-standing units that can support upskilling interests and/or are integrated in a corresponding Master鈥檚 program.
